Well, there’s only so many options: larger tires on aftermarket wheels (methods or knockoffs), lift kit, roof basket with high jacker and gas can and maybe roof mounted spare...

Subaru needs to make SOHC engines again. The DOHC is impossible to work on.
In fact, this is actually the best case for using pushrods, as the OHV will be much narrower. Subaru uses wide engines in narrow cars, leaving no space.
